I am a Licensed Professional Counselor & Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC). I am also a Certified Mental Health Nutrition Specialist and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. I have provided mental health assessments and treatment since 2008. I obtained my Master of Arts Degree from Cardinal Stritch University and completed post-graduate training in treatment of trauma and suicide assessment and intervention.
I have worked with clients in outpatient clinical settings on mental health and substance use disorders. I also worked in an institutional setting. I have worked with clients who presented with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns including those with adjustment and mood disorders, substance use disorders, and severe personality disorders.
I specialize in treating adolescents, adults and older adults with substance use disorders, chronic pain, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am experienced in providing cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
